OUR MISSION & VISION
• Protecting Nature and Wildlife: We are committed to conserving nature and wildlife by addressing the urgent threats to biodiversity. Through sustainable, science-based solutions and community-centered approaches, we strive to preserve species, ecosystems, and natural habitats. We work to reduce human-wildlife conflict, educate and inspire people to value nature, and foster a future where humans and wildlife coexist in harmony.
• Working towards curbing Wildlife crime in collaboration with stake holders.
• Empowering People: We walk hand in hand with those in need—offering support for food, shelter, education, and health—to ensure the underprivileged and marginalized not only survive but prosper, thrive, and build fulfilling lives for today and generations to come.
• Communities are healthy, capable, and educated, empowering every individual—especially the most vulnerable—to lift themselves out of poverty, ill-health, and illiteracy, building just and fulfilling lives for today and tomorrow.
• Nature and wildlife thrive alongside humanity, in a harmonious coexistence where biodiversity is valued, protected, and nurtured. We see a future where we assure the society to exist in long term with the natural world and embracing its richness for the benefit of all life on Earth.

Honoured and Excited!
Got the incredible opportunity to present the SAGE Foundation’s work on Human–Elephant Coexistence in North Odisha at the WARN 2025 (Wildlife Rescue Asia Network Conference) held in Hua Hin, Thailand.
It was a privilege to share our on-ground learnings and community-based conservation efforts in front of representatives from 47 organizations across 18 countries — all united by the common goal of ensuring safer spaces for both humans and wildlife.
A heartfelt thank you to the JSW Foundation for their continuous support towards this project in Barbil, Odisha, and for believing in the power of coexistence.
Grateful for this platform, the meaningful exchange of ideas, and the collective inspiration to strengthen wildlife conservation efforts globally.
Big Step Forward for Animal Welfare in India!
The India Animal Welfare Forum (IAWF) has launched the country’s first Collaborative Animal Welfare Funding Circle in Mumbai, aiming to bridge the critical funding gap in animal protection and bring more strategic, long-term support to impactful initiatives across India by Upadhyaya Foundation.
Stripes and Green Earth Foundation, was represented by Sagnik Sengupta, Director, who pitched a project focusing on the conservation and coexistence of Asiatic Elephants in the Vidarbha region — highlighting the urgent need for sustainable, community-driven wildlife solutions.
A promising move towards stronger collaboration, compassion, and real change for animals nationwide.
